Andrew is 20 months old and although he has been tall enough to reach door knobs, he has not figured out how to turn them to open a door.... until now.
It can be a good thing and a bad thing. He can now go in and out of the bedrooms and bathrooms without someone having to open the door for him.
But this also means he can go OUT the front or back door without help. At least right now, he cannot reach the top lock (dead bolt), which means I will have to keep it locked during the day. But the garage doesn't have a dead bolt, just a knob that you push and turn to lock/unlock. And there are "no-no's" out there for him to get into.
Not to mention MY bedroom! He already had an escapade of locking himself in my bedroom alone. I certainly don't want him walking into our bedroom at "the wrong time!" ;-)
And here I was thinking he was ready to go into a toddler bed to free up the crib for Faith.....

They just hung on the doorknob and turned.
does your bedroom door have teh little hole on the outside for "emergencies?" Keep an small thin screwdriver close.
About him getting in, I haven't a clue. Maybe barricade the door!
