Hate

I am tired of hate. I wrote this in response to someone who hates people of different races, political affiliation, religion etc.

Born in stupidity

Toddle in lies

Schooled in fear

Hate

Teen trouble maker

Feed on differences

Grow to instigate

Hate

Adult witless

Spouts poison

Death will cure you

Hate in Hell

Hate often makes no sense at all and vengence isn't always targeted at the person responsible. You can't live in peace if you are filled with hate.

I wish people could just get along but they can't. Not enough love in the world to overcome the hate, jealousy, bigotry, envy and anger. Poor love is up against so many enemies - maybe we should think about love instead of being angry with the haters - do we add to the hatred when we condemn the haters?

I can honestly say I've never hated anyone, there are those I dislike, but to me hate is someone or something so vile you wish to see it extinguished. Great poem.

You no this extends to sports as well. I am not a Boston Red Sox fan because I am a Yankee fan, but I do not hate Boston Red Sox, I just wish the Yankees would win. Congratulations to Boston.

In this world view which is dualistic, everything is in between a play of opposites. Most people think that Hate is the opposite of Love ... but it is not ... Fear is the opposite of Love and it is Fear that generates Hatred ... fear in the self looks for a cause and sees it in another which is then hated because of the internal dread and the weakness to admit to the weakness of the self that is fearful.
