The group has no formal rules but here is why I started it: My son and I were very frustrated one night, struggling to find information online or off so he could complete an assignment.

I asked Gather members for help. Within 20 minutes, our question was answered! That was when a Gather editor suggested I start this group ,a place where parents or their parents (or both) could come for help or resources. I am trying to keep any info saved or maybe even start a links list.

For now, though, it is a place where we can just help in any way with anything that comes up. By the way, it isn't just for people in formal school but anyone who needs help in any area, whether being homeschooled or in college or grade school. Any kind of information, generally related to schooling, but not necessary. We do keep it family-friendly,though, so kids could come here and not see anything. That is why it is moderated, so there may be a slight delay after submitting articles till I can approve them and make sure they aren't x-rated, LOL.
