Help me celebrate my boy's special day!

We celebrated in a different way this year, a little more toned down but geared towards creating lasting memories for my son.

Some of my best memories were when my parents and grandparents came to my school, even for no particular reason.  I want him to share this.

We treated 8 kids and ourselves to Pizza Hut.  My mom also got a tour of his school, which we are very proud of.

Please join me in wishing my boy a Happy Birthday! He loves this time of year.  He gets a birthday and then Halloween.  We breathe a bit and then Christmas comes! Good grief!!!

We are lucky our school has an "open" policy. You can eat lunch or visit classrooms anytime. There are also volunteer opportunities here. This is a public school but people come from several communities to go here. I was thrilled. And the policeman in the picture asked if he could have everyone sing to him! :)
