FISA Hearings Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning the Senate Judiciary Committee will meet to hold hearings on FISA reform legislation. These hearings will help the Committee decide what to include in the legislation and whether or not retroactive immunity will be in the bill.

We already have had four Senators come out against retroactive immunity. We know this thanks to the thousands of calls that have been logged through our Citizen Generated Whip Count. Thanks to your hard work, we know that we are only six votes away from defeating retroactive immunity in the Judiciary Committee.

Please, keep the calls coming into the Judiciary Committee. Find out where these senators stand on retroactive immunity. Ask them to oppose it and report the results back.

Thanks to the Dodd campaign for the update, and for this courageous stand defending our liberty. I have a hard time believing so many politicians in Washington D.C are willing to sell us down the river. Chris Dodd is not one of them.
