(a photo essay)
My twin granddaughters, Jenna and Jaden, just turned two last month. It seems like only yesterday, we were welcoming them into the world. They were premature and only weighed just over four pounds. From the beginning, the bond between them was tied.

It was not long before they became very animated and began developing their own unique personalities.

During their first year, they experienced "swimming" for the first time. It quickly became apparant, Jenna & Jaden absolutely LOVE being around water. Teaching them to swim was high priority on our list.

Another activity they greatly enjoy is spending time at the beach. Chasing seagulls, playing in the sand, and watching kites take flight.

Jenna and Jaden also love books. I try to make sure they always have something to "read" when they come to visit, so a fight doesn't break out.

Their first tractor ride was interesting. Neither Jenna nor Jaden liked it very much, but they did enjoy having a picnic on the wagon.

Tree "climbing" has become a big hit with the twins.

There was not much difference between the first and second birthday parties. Jenna and Jaden still were loaded down with presents and enjoyed the cake.

Jenna and Jaden keep me company and I love spending time with them. We just got them a swing set and they have a blast on it whenever they come to visit.

Of course, I have too many pictures to put into one article...but I just had to share a few. Hope you enjoyed seeing Jenna and Jaden....

I hope mine is a girl!!!!!!!
Marianne, I'm glad you liked it. They have grown a lot. They are talking too, in soft sweet voices. I spoil the heck out of them, but isn't that what grandparents are supposed to do?
My grandkids are the lights of my life!
Tamra, thank you.
