Some Really Beautiful Days

I love the fall, and the weather it brings.  It's been so beautiful, especially these last few days.

The sun makes a much more pleasant light, in the fall.  I can almost feel it nourish my body. 

The air smells so fresh.  This is the time, I love to take long walks, in the afternoon, by the river, and hike through the woods.  No particular destination.  Just exploring much like I did, as a child.

Came across a very old horseshoe.  A very old bell that used to hang around a cow's neck.  I love to find little treasures like these from days gone by.  These were things from a life, that was going on before I was born. 

I wonder, sometimes, who these people were.  How did they go about their daily routine.?

I've only found one cow skull, out here.  There are dinasour tracks, and fosslized dinasour eggs, etc...These are aleays a great find.   I plan to someday incorperate much of what I find, into the structure of our fireplace, that we are going to have in the house we're building out here, in the country.  Perhaps into the walls of the house, as well.
