Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for hearing our prayers and we thank you for this day and all the blessings you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for all you are doing on our behalf in our lives. We pray for our leaders that you will guide them in their decisions, we pray for our troops. We pray for ourselves that you will heal us and meet our needs. We lift the following people up in prayer and ask you to fill the needs they have:
All the people in California in the 7 counties in Southern California who are facing being homeless because of the fires out there and the fireman and personnel who are fighting the fire. Lord please calm the winds so they can contain the fires. Lord we pray that they find the arsonists who started this horrific disaster. We ask you Lord to intercede for our nations from having any more natural disasters. We have not recovered yet from Hurrican Katrina. Please alert the people who can do something to prevent another awful terrorist event in time for them to act and stop it.
We pray for gather members David and Jennifer Smith's mother and mother in law, Destiny Solange, Tristan who is 1 1/2 years old. He has an infection in his finger that the doctors are concerned may be a flesh eating disease and if medicine doesn't work- they might have to remove the finger.We pray for Roger's his best friend who needs a liver transplant Ellen, Jason, Heather, and Tony, Gather member , Guy Arneson who lost his wife, try to bring him comfort Lord (to view his poem dedicated to her - the url is:www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977152389)
Lora's Megan who needs a good job, Billy who is dying of cancer, the little boy Matthew who has cancer and his family, Sue H-that her tests will run smoothly and over the doctors so they can find out what is wrong, all the people who got laid off from AOL and from the other companies that are downsizing that they will find employment quickly. AH - Pirate Wench- Aka Allie who is facing some major health problems, Anne Marie Allyn's Dad who is in Intensive Care, Anne M. and her family, Danielle's friend Donna, Nan to find the right job, Charity's Ricky, Deb J.and her son Jethro and daughter Chloe, Michael's Dad Larry, Marilyn's Aunt Leona, Elaine's Mom, Gaedith, her daughter and boyfriend and Chrystal. Please pray for Ellen B that her life will be more peaceful, Mrs. Linda & her grandaughter Lisa. Continue praying for Jacqueline Bethune for her recovery, Brenda, Esther, Dark, Nalita, Lisa. Emily Clarke, Gaedith, her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend's recovery, Harrel's wife, Ceena, Sierra and her Dad, (Lune's Grandad) Williams M's Amy who is in a coma but improving.
April H says Carolyn's surgery went smoothly, Elizabeth Grieving R. D. needs your healing in her heart, Janet B's relatives and her friend SouthSandy and her sister Mary who is had surgery on October 14th and is recovering-Lesley Dave's sister who has cancer, Lloyd Smith's wife, Will who is overseas, Brad (lost bird)'s recovery from surgery also Tiffany's Mother in law Vicky who has cancer and Melissa's stepsister Ada, Dale Coparanis wife and Anne, her cousin Willis's family as he passed away this morning and her husband Gene, Rebekka's husband Will who has cancer. Mildreds father who will be undergoing chemo and radiation, please help Lisa's son get that job he wants and prayers that her financial state will improve, she really needs her disability claim to be approved. Please pray for Kevin who is being mean(and all the people who are mean) to Lora's daughter, Michelle's Mother and complete recovery for her boss and a safe pregnancy for her cousin, and for Kim and her request for prayer over a private issue. Dina A., my extended stay house guests who will be arriving next weekend, please pray that they will have a safe journey and will be able to start a better life here in Florida. All these people all need healing and miracles Lord. Please touch their hearts and lives with your everlasting love.
We also lift up in prayer all the children who are being born and adopted, for the birth parents and adopted parents as well. Especially for Kathleen and the baby she and her husband are waiting for. Prayer for all on Gather who are hurting right now. We pray for those struggling with cancer, heart disease, aids, mental health issues and the handicapped who struggle with their challenges. Lord open others eyes so they can see that the disabled are people with feelings too! Lord give us all blessings and show us all your love through others. Use us to show your love through us too!
Lord let us know and feel your everlasting love in our lives. We ask you will grant us love in our lives, We all need love. We ask you to help us all through all our trials and tribulations and draw us closer to you. Guide us in our lives as we know you know what is the best path for us. Lord there are many we know that are strugging financially and can't afford to pay bills or buy medicine, please guide those in financial trouble out of it. Help them find the way out to a better life. For those who are not sure about your existance, Lord we pray that you open their eyes and help them understand why we are so strong in our faith. We ask that you guide them to the answers they seek.
We thank you for hearing our prayers and we appreciate all you are doing on our behalf. We know that all things are on your timetable and that you know what is best. We trust in you Lord as you hold us all in the palm of your hand. Please dwell in our hearts and teach us your ways.
Help us learn to deal with our anger and resolve the difficulties in our lives. Help us to cope with other peoples anger and teach us how to diffuse situations that are difficult and potentially dangerous. Help us to be the people you want us to be and guide our paths. Teach us to be forgiving and at peace. Give us your peace, Lord in our hearts and let it take the place of the anxieties we feel. We thank you for your blessings in our lives we pray that you help us be a blessing to all of those in our lives. We pray for resolution so our troops can come home. In Jesus's most precious name. Here is a update on Lesley. We all went over yesterday and had a get together since Lesley's sister Barb and niece came in from California. So the whole family was there. When we got there Lesley was upstairs sleeping. When she did come down I almost fell off my chair. I almost didn't recognize her. It was the saddest thing I have seen lately. The cancer is all on her right side and her poor eye is swollen closed almost. it almost looked like she had had a stroke and she is already going to need a wheelchair or walker as she is so weak. I have been around many people with cancer and even worked in a hospital and senior center. I never saw anything move so fast. Has anyone ever heard of sarcoma cancer? That is what she is dealing with. I had just saw her when she was in the hospital and there were NO physical signs at that time. She just found out about the cancer itself on Fathers day. so yes it is a very fast moving illness. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. Especially Lesley, Mary and Missy.
Mary came home from the hospital Friday. I understand she is having a nurse come in but she is not doing well at all either. I so wish I could go to Maryland and help her out too. It is just so hard on everyone involved.
And Missy is going back in two weeks for the biopsy they took from her stomach lump. So please say lots of prayers as these are just a few people I know that them.
