By order of a District Judge in the County Court at Law II in my home county of Texas, my name has been changed to what my name has been for all of my adult life.

May the state trooper who took it upon herself to tell me what had to be on my driver's license and the state department employee who though he or she was God enough to tell me what my name is both and each suffer from athlete's foot and jock itch for all eternity.

Terri, it cost about $300, when I was done with certified copies, notaries, filing fees and everything else. If I had used a lawyer, it would have been quite a bit more.
