Common sense, goes right out the window during stressful periods, hot flashes, cramping, headaches, none of these are condusive to maintaining healthy relationships.
Watching my daughter wrestling with the consequences of her natural aging process has been interestingly both scary & stressful enough that I suppose a book and a movie could (should) be made. A movie with a title maybe like Cycles of Hell. I think that one was already used though, something to do with motorcycles, cycles & Harley's yes but not nearly as dangerous as a menopausal cycle though.
Trying to be nice to her father she prepared a bath for him to relax in last evening putting herbs and aromatherapy spices into the water, making sure the temperature was just right for him and happily eventually announced, "all set". He asked her if it was all right to get the stuff on his hair to which she replied, "it's halloween what do you care".
