The Dwindling Number of Blue Whales ©Roberto Burnham de San Antone
The captain walked on water
That's what the old sailors say
He would protect them from the tempest
By his word the wind’s kept at bay
Below the keel the fishes swam
And Jonah would tell his tales
As he lamented on the ills of men
And the dwindling number of blue whales
The blue whale - God's greatest creature
Both in stature and in size
King of the oceans, swimming wild
Until evil men turned his songs to cries
The noble one who did no wrong
Content to swim and preach of peace
But sacrificed for man's transgressions
His flesh torn piece by piece
When the captain requested that they be fishers
He didn't mean in a whaler's role
Their task not meant to render man’s death
But rather to make him whole
Swim on blue whale for you are my dream
And I pray you will remember I
I shall always turn my cheek for you
And never pluck out your eye.
THEN JESUS SAID TO THEM, "FOLLOW ME, AND I WILL MAKE YOU BECOME FISHERS OF MEN."

we are so screwed..we use everything up,kill and exploit until we are left standing alone as a species triumphant in a desolate world.
