Okay - so this one I liked. Not enough to ever want to see it again - but like the previous 2 Spidey movies, it had lots of action and special effects - and a story, also. No great masterpiece of a story, but what the heck, it worked - and they did manage to pick up all the bits and pull them all together eventually! I liked the fact that it showed somewhat more range in characters than is typical for a superhero/action flick - the good guys aren't always all good, and the bad guys aren't necessarily all bad. And the little symbiotic guy in the beaker scene was cool too :)

Hate movies! But this one was tolerable, and I barely thought about everything I could-a should-a would-a been doing on the computer while we watched it.

 

Note: I am not fond of movies on the whole - so wouldn't necessarily advise basing your movie rental/purchase decisions on anything I say.

I'm getting it for my 8 year old for Christmas (we saw it together when it came out). For me personally, I always like seeing Bruce Campbell in the Spiderman movies. He has had different bit parts in each one. In #3 he played the waiter.

The only time I didn't like movies was when I was single and dating actors, directors, and producers in Los Angeles. It seemed that every date I went on somebody was a 'member of the Academy' and wanted to go see a freebie screening.

It wasn't until years later that I voluntarily resumed movie-viewing.

my sis and I actually went to the 1st showing here in our area.. yep went to the movie theater at 12am on a Thursday just to be at the opening! Can you say ssstttooopppiiiiddd. I liked the movie but my lord I'll wait until a more desireable time next movie I go to. lol

I liked Spiderman 3, but thought it dragged in a few spots. I thought Spiderman 2 was incredible from beginning to end.

I rented and watched Spiderman # this week. I didn't think it was bad. I thought number 2 was worse.
