Countdown To Vacation - 9 Days To Mexico!

This is just great!

The last two weeks before my vacation is the time I take care of things like doing laundry, buying school supplies and library books for the Children's Library project, start packing... You know, all those things that need to be done before leaving.

Since the last update I've been working nightshift at work. I've pretty much been doing nothing but working and sleeping. But, I try to keep it in perspective...

I always try to look at the bright side. 

This weekend's overtime  paid for the house I'm renting for my 6 week stay! No, I don't make that much! But, when you spend your vacation in a village that consists of three dirt streets, rent isn't that much.

The last couple of nights at work have been WAY too cold! But, I like that. The colder and/or wetter it is before I leave, the more I appreciate the 85 degree days in Barra de Potosi...

I got another dozen books in the mail last week, Corina.

how exciting, Mexico! I've never been but would love to some day. We did not get a real vacation this year, trying to get up on some bills. Hopefully next year.
