Dream - McDonald's Frequent Customer Card

I dreamed that my husband and I were driving home. We wanted to bring some food home, and we decided to get McDonald's because I had a coupon book from them. He said we could just go to the one up ahead. At first I said there was no McDonald's on this street. Then I remembered there was. So I said never mind, of course there was.

We pulled into the parking lot and I saw a table displayed outside of the building in the lawn area. There were many teenagers gathered around that table, and the McDonald's employee attending the table was very busy handing out something.

I was very curious, so I approached the table after my husband parked the car. It turned out that McDonald's was promoting a new frequent customer membership card. It was either $5 or free to sign up (I didn't get a chance to clarify this with the employee in the dream). Once you got the card, you'd use it with every purchase, and it would record your purchase history. When you purchased certain items for certain times, you would get a free item of the same kind.

I thought it sounded familiar and I had seen it somewhere. Then I realized this was advertised on my coupon book and that's where I saw it. I showed the employee my coupon book and asked to sign up. She said I did not need to give her the coupon, but I just needed to fill out the application form. She gave me a form on the clipboard. I started to fill it out, but the dream ended here.

Hey I wish McDonald's would actually do this in real life. I would even be willing to pay $5 for the membership. We go there so often that this membership will pay off quickly.
