Author: Jeffrey Deaver

I have had the pleasure to get to know, through emails, best-selling author Jeffrey Deaver.

I will not be on here too much anymore, as I have a lot of work to do! However, I would be doing my friends here, as well as Jeffrey an injustice if I do not tell you a little something about this man. I asked him a question about query letters--he responded. I read his book, and gave him a 100+---and he responded!!! He responded with an extremely humble and supporting tone! This man is a best-selling author, and yet, he found time to answer little ole' me.

The book I read by Jeffrey Deaver is titled: The Bone Collector. I could not put this book down! The writing is superb! While reading the book, chills ran down my spine, and I was so impressed with his work, that I wrote him an email.

I have invited Jeffrey to come over to Gather---I don't know if he will. But, if you like to be in suspense, this book is for you!

Really, Jan? Oh, wait, you will be hooked from the first page most likely. My sister said that there were a few that were not best-selling, but most of them I believe are. Let me know which one...now I am curious! :)

I've read ALL of Jeffery Deaver's books and enjoy them. As a matter of fact my first husband and my daughter's father has the surname Deaver. I don't know if they are related or not though.

I just saw the movie, but I did not think it was as good as the book. But, I think his writing is so good, and for suspense writers, this is a guy to study.
