Jerri, I also believe that we are all of God the creator, that we are an extension of his creation. William, I also believe that by being a part of the creator that we each carry God in our heart.
I believe that Earth is not the only place in the Universe where there is life. That some life is far more advanced then us. I believe I'll be able to know for certain that all I believe is true, when this body dies and I reach a new realm of being.
I believe that parents, my father died in 1984 and my mother died in 1986, are still and always will be watching out for my sister and myself. When my appendix ruptured in 1993 I knew they would make sure everything would be fine. The night before my sister was to be operated on for colon cancer in 2006 she told me that she felt their hands on her shoulder.
Sharon, I'm glad your parents still give you comfort and reassurance. Nancy, I wish more people believed in what you do, then it wouldn't be so hard to prove.
I believe that there is a reason for my being here. It is not to be famous or well known or popular, but rather to take care of those of those that need caring for and to be patient in all things. In a sense I believe in my destiny. I may complain and want to rebel from it. But I cannot change it or the direction in which my life flows.
Angela, I admit I googled Parapsychology ( because I wanted to make sure I wasn't thinking it meant one thing when it actually meant something else) .... and found the it is the scientific and scholarly study of certain unusual events associated with human experience. These experiences have been called "psychic" for want of a better term.
I believe we all have the capability to tune in, most of us don't know how and don't want to work at learning how. I heard somewhere that humans use a tiny portion of their brain, I wonder how much different life would be if we learned to use our full brain power.
Hi Sheila, wonderful deep thinking reply...there is so much a person believes deep inside that needs no proof. What sort of life after death do you envision for yourself?
I do believe that in order to have balance that there is dark/light, happy/sad, for without one you would not know the other. I also believe as you...that we have choice to choose or path and that choice is not taken away once our bodies die. It gives me hope to believe that we are not alone in the universe and there is much we humans will probably never understand. I believe what we generate in ourselves is passed on to those around us, thus holding on to hate is destructive not only to ones self but those around us. I would much rather radiate love and compassion. Thought within ones self is the starting point for all external reality.
