How I made $121 from gather this month

Alright, some of you wanted to know if gather actually pays. Here's what I have so far. There's another $2 waiting for me as well so I guess it brings the grand total of what gather has paid me so far this month at $119 this month (with another $2 making it $121 from Gather this month).

The key to it all is COMMENTING. Make sure that you SUPPORT your fellow gatherers. It helps BOTH of you. Want a good start, feel free to take a look at my articles and pictures and comment away and you'll find it will help you add up gather points and help share your thoughts in no time.

I have never been asked to take the cash option, how do you get there, I have lots of points, and wouldn't mind that , but doesn't pay pal take their cut when you want to take it out? I often wondered about that, anyway, good luck to you, and I am commenting all the time, so if that is what pays, I should be getting in on the action, lol. Best of luck to you.

Commenting is indeed key. I try to do as much as time allows, though lately I've been having to cut Gather time to prepare for writing my novel.

I made slightly more than you pulled in this month and was paind in under 24 hours. Gather, indeed does pay.

I thought the payout was $50.00. I thought by showing you want a paypal payment that you would get cash anyway. Or maybe I'm just having a blonde moment! It's nice to see that people are really getting paid. Thanks for the tip regarding comments.

To those trying to find out about the money option: there have been articles about how the points work, written by the gather staff.

Dan: glad you're having fun with Gather. Your articles have been thoughtful, not just one-liners or jokes copied from websites or, worst of all, a reprint of someone else's article with no contribution except to say "read this"--and as long as you stick to the tos, you're doing good. I hope you're also finding interesting things to read and photos and videos to enjoy. Have you found the place you want to go next? (re your earlier article)

That's awesome that you have found a way to make money. I believe I have stumbled upon a way to make my points add up faster but I'm just testing a theory. I would love to get to the cash option if only there was a way to do it with a rechargeable Visa or something instead of paypal. That would be far more useful to us than gift cards but I also have found that I am not spending as much time on here as I'd like so my point totals are moving slowly. Anyway, good on ya.

Okay, here's the basic requirements, right?

Earn Cash
Gather's top contributors can earn cash instead of Gather Points! To qualify, you need to earn $50 (about 3,000 points) per month. You can cash out as often as you'd like. We'll send you either a check or PayPal® payment.

Hey thanks for the info! Although i do not remember any option such as cash, I would be just as happy to have a gift card, as long as i can use it in Home Depot.
