Presley had his fourth class tonight. There are four other dogs in the class, 2 Labs, a beagle- shepherd and another mixed breed.
The one lab is very mouthy and the owner brings her two little girls with her each week. The youngest is about three and every week, she is doing something that disrupts the class.
Tonight when the dogs were playing, the lab was all over Presley, at his face and neck. I gently pulled Presley back but the lab kept coming at him. Finally, the owner said to me "do you think he is hurting your dog". I said in a very calm manner, "I don't know. But if you are asking me that question, then you must think he is". My daughter thought I was rude in saying that.
Then the little girl falls off her chair and starts screaming, so the class has to stop so she can be calmed down.
The dog then nipped her owner, and the trainer told her to go into a corner with the dog and stay there for 5 minutes to calm him down. No less than a minute later, the dog is running around again. I'm not sure what she is getting out of this class, because she ignores everything the trainer says and takes up time that the trainer could be spending with the other dogs in the class.
