MIAMI - A Hialeah firm is recalling 8,200 pounds of frozen ground beef because it may be tainted with E. coli.
No illnesses have been reported.
The meat was intended for a Florida correctional institution and a distributor in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Each case bears the establishment number ``Est. 451A'' inside the USDA mark of inspection with a date code of 2577, 2647, or 2707.
E. coli is a potentially deadly bacterium that causes diarrhea and dehydration.

I think it shows everyone, just how bad hygiene and what a lousy job they do at cleaning, at these meat processing plants
I always thought that freezing a product killed any bacteria, but I guess I was wrong.
