"You can"t eat your cake and have it, too".
The saying is: "You cannot eat your cake, and yet, still have it".
World of difference!
Which part of socal are you from? My family is there, but far from the fires.
Th Hbrw N SRL S WRTTN WTHT VWLS.

I can teach you to make felt from loose alpaca fiber :)
Or how to needle felt
And when I was in healthcare (A registered respiratory therapist) We let our residents sleep...unless it was a dire emergency (I worked night shift in the neonatal intensive care unit.)
I made a latch hook rug for my oldest son, but by the time I finished it I had to give it to my youngest son, because my oldest had SO gotten over Winnie the Pooh by that point.
I met my abusive ex husband online, in a Christian chat room no less. Go figure. BIG mistake that was. I was 19 and very naive. I met my wonderful new hubby (well it's been almost 3 years but we're still honeymooning) at the bowling alley. He's an awesome bowler and I suck big time.

It is not selective hearing it is different. Thanks.
Pepsie - I believe you. I'm 42, and I like things a lot quiter than I used to.
Emma - Interesting. This literal translation of 'buns' sounds more authentic (practical?)
