I bet, still, if you stopped seeing viagra as something to have a stigma with it, the men might be more willing to discuss it with you. I can hear it now. "My Nitric oxide system is messed up, mind giving me some phosphodiesterase inhibitors?" (Viagra)

Oh I don't have a problem with them needing Viagra -- it's the guys who feel a bit embarrassed. I can understand that though, telling a bunch of women your problem could be . . . difficult. At first I typed hard but figured I better change the wording . . .

Everything that doesn't require a medical degree of any kind. And I run things when the office manager is out, which is fairly often.

We don't do any prior auth's in our office. I don't find that too patient-friendly but that's the head honcho's decision. I can respect the principle of the thing. He feels he earned his M.D. and shouldn't have to justify himself to the insurance company. But I think we've lost a few patients over it.

This is an aside ... Read no further if you do not wish to step to the left, but ... Did you ever notice that warning attached to the Viagra commercials ?, " If you have an erection which lasts longer than eight hours, go to the nearest emergency room ( and notify all the nurses ). Having spent many years in the E.R. on the graveyard shift, I can really appreciate that. The staff would certainly like to er, 'learn'.

Ummm...well because you brought it up...Marie Antoinette never said "let them eat cake" as everyone is tought. It was said 100 years before her by Marie-Therese, the wife of Louis XIV. And in fact, the literal translation means "buns" not "cake"

After 40 the ability to process information and communication changes

. Where as a 20 year old could carry on a conversation with 2/3 outside noises a 40 yr old may have trouble keeping a conversation with 1 outside noise (such as water running or dishwasher going)

It is not selective hearing it is different. Thanks.

I can teach you that worrying about anything at all is not going to make it happen or not happen, so all of that worry is wasted energy. That is a lesson it took me a long time to learn, so if this helps you, and it takes practice, you will be rewarded , I am, I now go with the flow,

Elsie - God Bless You! I come from a long line of worriers. The past five years, I've settled down quite a bit. Your advice is awesome.

Pepsie - I believe you. I'm 42, and I like things a lot quiter than I used to.

Emma - Interesting. This literal translation of 'buns' sounds more authentic (practical?)
