exquisite blooms

rose

buds in fancy

clothing…

deep thoughts

of you

the colorful butterfly…

flash dancing

in the wind

behold

the sumptuous plume

of an egret…

sowing the seeds

of spring with gusto

your infectious smile

sublime… warming the fertile

crescent of my soul

you

the mystic poem

stir great lust…

in the tender heart

of spring

the son rises

in the garden of desire…

immense fecundity

virgo

in her element…

demurely

dressed in rainbow

colors

you soar

like an egret on heat…

oh giggling beauty

honey

bees in the spring

blossom…

the rapturous sound

of creation unfold

Lawrence, I always find tenderness in your poems. Same here, in thin this one too. Spring, the symbolic time for all fertility to dance on this earth, for colors and emotions to unfold, for love to bloom, and take flight like those butterflies.
You do not speeak of just the season...but of all it will do to us, to our desires, to our hopes and the future.

I love how you use elements of nature to describe your lover in both spirit and feelings. There is a sense of gentleness that seems to envelop your thoughts of her. This poem also has a gently flowing rhythm giving it a total feeling that she is that of a completeness in you.

I was sifting through your poems and stopped to reread this one, which I find quite beautiful. I don't know if is my state of mind, but the Rhythm seemed to be like a Yoga breathing exercise.
