Temperatures went into the upper 70's today!
The sun reflected off the Sound shining on the magical Olympic Mountains Rain Forest in the distance.
The chill and the brisk rush of salt water against your fur.
The Dew creates this magical show more precious and transient than any Diamond.

The steep slope down to the waters edge at high tide Casting long shadows down the road less travelled.
.

Keeping the beach clear of debris.

The woods is silent with anticpation.

A peek a boo view of Mount Rainer off in the distance tops off this beautiful autumn day!
Giving you some of what was given to me today and sharing a moment caught in time.
Thank you for giving me some of yours.

Thank you for spending your time with me..

Shady and I loved your photo essay! What a beautiful place to call home. Thanks for sharing it with My Home Town - tell us about the place you call home!
I am eager to read and/or see effects of the weather changes there.
I recall visits to some uncut original Douglas Fir forests there. 250/300 foot (?) trees without a limb for the first 100+ feet. The wind was whistling through the needles high above, though the air was still where I was standing in the tall native ferns. A strange moment.
We are getting plenty of water here so your relatives are wrong we have done very well with moisture in October- no problem here. I do not know what your Seattle relatives are talking about maybe Eastern Washington. Thanks for stopping by!
