The man, whom occupies the White House, whom I dont really enjoy calling my president, but is still the president, has asked for new war spending appropriations somewhere close to 200 billion dollars. And not only did he have the nerve to ask for more money, he rushed the Congress, saying that they needed to get him a bill before the holiday recess. Rushed just like he rushed to veto Abby and millions of other children, and said he was pleased with it. I am not a liberal, and I welcome those who call me one, but you are misinformed. I am holding the president to his record, just like I hold Democratic Congressman and Senators responsible for not changing this misguided foreign policy. I am really not a liberal, because I have said that if the honorable and late Ronald Reagan were here, he would know what to do. The irresponsibility needs to stop. I want my kids to be able to live a life where they can afford to put their kids through college and take care of them, not have to pay for all this ridiculous debt being mounted by Washington political games. I want our troops home so the grieving families can be comforted and not another drop of American blood is spilled for a nation that could care less if they were a democracy. This is biblical, this warring and fighting has been going on forever, and will continue to until the return of my savior, Jesus Christ. Yes, Gather Republicans, I am A Democrat, and I am a Christian, and I own a gun. I want to be able for my children and yours to enjoy the Earth that we are destroying in an inappropriate way. I want to live in a world where I can go into a 90 story scyscraper and be able to come out alive(my prayers are with the families of the 9/11 victims and their families). I want things to be normal, and they can be, if we would just stop and wake up and use some more common sense. Its not hard. Hell, we can all do little things to change this world. I am hoping that I am making sense, because I love my country, I am a patriot, I love my family, I love God, I love democracy, I love this world that I live in. If we dont wake up and take inventory and make some changes to this world, it wont be here for any of us to love anymore.

You can pretty much ignore the comments of micky d. who likes to drop right wing slogans into political articles.
The Constitution does set out to "...promote the general welfare...:.
It has a lot of active members who read and post about politics.
Join, and post the article to the BTB:

As for micky up there, I don't think that when our forefathers had such great ideas in the Constitution they also really had the foresight to see 200 odd years into the future when we would need health care and a good way to get it with or without government help!
stick with your beliefs Robbie they will serve you well! The good thing about this country again is that you have a right to those beliefs and so do people like Micky. Even if in scope one of you may be wrong (not saying which one ;-)
