I was "tagged" to write about my daily routine.
First of all, I don't easily follow a routine but I do have goals and "to do" lists which I do follow. So here goes
5:30 am - we are up, son taking shower for high school, which starts terribly early
7 am - Husband getting ready for work as college prof
8 am- Since I'm a begiinning Flylady (an organization system) I'm making small progress but some progess. I generally get my shoes on my feet (yep this is one thing to do) "reboot my laundry if needed, nearly daily (put in dirty clothes, dry wet ones, put away clean ones), do a quick swish and swipe in the bathroom to keep everything ship shape in there. I actually got my kitchen floor mopped one day! Amazing.
From here, things are always unpredictable. My goals of having to write X number of articles for various sites is met at some point, since I am a writer. I am now preparing for a live chat I'll be hosting with Michael Covel, who wrote a book called The Complete TurtleTrader, and I URGE people to make time for that Monday, Oct 29, as this is an excellent book for anyone wanting to up their learning curve about hedge funds, investing and an incredible group of people who formed together to come up with an amazing system - and where they are now.
It is a lively engaging book. In between that, I generally maintain my book blog http://bookingalong.blogspot.com/ as well as a blog about homes because I love them.
Yesterday I was thrilled to be featured at freelanceswitch.com (The Write Stuff) and to have an opportunity to link back to Gather and Michael's book. :)
Tomorrow, a doctor's appointmenta s I fear I might have a heel problem, painful for a couple of months.
Just a taste of my wild schedule!

thanks lot for sharing so much from your life..but you seems real busy ..I must say...and I see you are busy on other forum and blogs too.Wow that's something special for me...You are successfully manging your indoors and outdoors responsibilities perfectly..
Very well written....
I had not seen anyone doing this.
Yes, Victoria is our oldest daughter. I thought everyone knew that.
Your schedule is a lot like mine. I spend a lot of time every morning making breakfast and lunches for the rest of the family, and then being the taxi to various schools.
Getting up early is not something I want to do. It is a sore point with me how EARLY kids have to get up. A recent study indicated that for every 1/2 hour of missed sleep a kid has, their brains do not work as well. In many cases, 6th graders can't perform above a 4th grade level!
But when they catch up on sleep, they can pay attention and perform better. The average kid is not ready to get up at 5:30 a.m. But I don't know a solution, that is the way schools do it around here :(

Feel free to ask questions even if you haven't read the book. Should be of interest to anyone wanting to know how to maintain their income or maximize it.
