On Sunday October 21st, my boyfriend(AKA Poppy) and I took our son and his girlfriend and our two grandsons to a local pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day with temps close to 80. Thats very warm for us this late in the year. We could not have asked for a better day. We went to a place called Pick'N Patch in Stanley New York. I had the camera and my boyfriend had the camcoder. So you will see links to his videos throughout my essay. I hope you will look at those too.
Lets start with the baby animals. I love this part. Click here to see a video of them.

Heres the pony. Jordyn really liked him.

The baby sheep looked real tired. They must have had a long day.

This is Charlie the baby cow. He was tired too.

Now on to my favorite part...the three little pigs. I think this display is very cute.

They are not in the house made out of straw.

They haven't made it to the house made out of bricks either.

There they are in the house made out of sticks. I could only find two of them. The other one must have been way in the back.

Having some fun with the animal picture. This is Jordyn and his mom. Click here to see a video.

Poppy wants to take Jordyn over to the train ride.

All ready to go. Click here to see a video of his ride.

JD plays with a pumpkin while waiting for his brother.

Lets go again. This time in the front.

JD waits some more, but he is quite happy with that pumpkin.

Now its time to play in the funhouse. Jordyn could have stayed here all day. Click here to see a video.

JD is bored with his pumpkin. Now he wants daddy's popcorn.

Lets go in another maze. This one is made out of bales of straw. Poppy had a harder time with this one. Click here to see the video.

Jordyn and JD at the end of the maze. Aren't they cute?

Now its picture time under the square pumpkin. This is my son and his girlfriend with their two boys. What a happy family.

Isn't love grand?

Now its time to pay for all our stuff. Poppy looks shocked because my son just refused to let us pay for anything. We usually pay but money is really tight this year. But I would have went without something so my grandsons could have a good time. My son wouldn't let us pay. I am so blessed to have such a great family.

I hope you enjoyed our trip to the pumpkin patch. Next weekend we are carving the pumpkins. I can't wait to see what Poppy carves this year.
Here is a link to part one in case you missed it.

Looks like you had a great day.
I loved the picture of the sheep!
Those sheeps do look tired but you would too if all you had to do all day was "count sheep"
