On Sunday October 21st, my boyfriend(AKA Poppy) and I took our son,his girlfriend and our two grandsons to a local pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day with temps close to 80. Thats very warm for us this late in the year. We could not have asked for a better day. We went to a place called Pick'N Patch in Stanley New York. I had the camera and my boyfriend had the camcorder. So throughout my photo essay will be links to some of his videos. I hope you will check them out too.
Welcome to the Pick'N Patch

My grandsons not looking too thrilled about the whole thing.

We better get a wagon to load our pumpkins in.

The first row of pumpkins. To see my boyfriends video of all the pumpkins click here.

There were displays of different nursery rhymes. Can you figure them out? I had a hard time.LOL. To see a video my boyfriend made of this display, click here.
This one is Baa Baa Black Sheep.

This one is Mary had a Little Lamb.

This one I made a mistake. The woman who goes with the shoe is in the last picture. Sorry about that. So this one is The Old Woman who lived in a shoe and next to it is Mary,Mary Quite Contrary.

This is Peter,Peter Pumpkin Eater and next to that is Little Miss Muffit.

And the next one is Hey Diddle Diddle.

And the last one is Humpty Dumpty.

This is the pumpkin house. I thought this was cute.

This is a little kiddie corn maze. My boyfriend followed our oldest grandson through it. Click here to see the video.

This is a no left turn maze. Its not as easy at it sounds. None of us could figure it out.

Jd still does not look very thrilled. He was okay as long as you kept moving.

Lots of pumpkins to buy. The ones we got were $4 each or 3 for $10. Not too expensive.

More things to choose from.

And more things.

Some interesting birdhouse gourds.

I thought these little pumpkins were very cute.

Some ornamental corn for sale.

This is a sign for the big maze. We did not go in this one as it was $6 a person.

I hope you enjoyed part 1 of my trip to the pumpkin patch. Part 2 will follow soon.
