All in a days work

Well, we spent part of two different days, but it took less than a day when it was all said and done..

A couple of weekends ago, we re-did the floor in our florida room. 

It originally had some ugly blue carpeting when we bought the house a year and a half ago.

we were tired of it, and we happened to be shopping and find some new tiles on sale for real cheap, so we decided on a whim to tear all the old carpet up and put down tiles!

We started late in the afternoon on a saturday and didn't do much before deciding to quit for the day. 

Altho I shouldn't say "we" because my husband did 90% of the work.  All I did was help him move a few of the heavier and larger things such as couches and cabinets out of the room, and help him pull some of the old carpet up and take it to the trash.   

Then on Sunday bright and early we got started again, and by early afternoon the floor was done!!

after a good cleaning to remove all the glue we were finally able to start putting everything back into the florida room!  

I am so glad we decided to redo it to, because it makes it easier to clean, especially since our pets spend a lot of time in this room, and this is where we keep their food and water, and the cats litter box, so that our daughter can't get into them..
