Yesterday, Matt and I went with our friends Mike and Kelly and their kids to a place Kelly likes to call The Pumpkin Patch, although this place is so much more!
It is a farm called Almar Orchards, and it is about 5 miles or so from our home.
They had a tractor ride that we took, that was loads of fun.
The trees were so close, you could pick the apples right off the branches!

I suspect this sign was necessary for after visting the animals.

They had a lot of stuff set up for the kids to play on or in.

We aren't getting any punkins this year. It's been too warm, and they would just rot.
No candy to hand out this year, either, Rob. No punkins, no candy.
The only bad part, Nana, is we kept trying to get him to go faster, but he wouldn't.
I feel sorry for a lot of farmers this year, April! So many have had terrible losses due to drought and even frost!
You say that like it's a bad thing.
Thanks, Denise :)
Vic, it was a homemade rig. I bet it could be made at home!
There is also a haunted hayride that we may go to, Mar.
Thanks, Lar.
