Joyce Meyer in Hershey

Joyce Meyer is going to be in Hershey this week starting Thursday through Saturday.  Is anyone out there going.  I am considering it, but it is a 5 hour drive each way.  I am trying to arrange it, but I am not sure if I will be able to. 

Has anyone ever seen her live and if so was it worth it?

I enjoy watching her in the mornings on tv... Sadly, I have not ever been able to attend one of her live events... I hope you get to go!!! Let us know all about it!!!

I have not seen her live but that would be neat. I agree with most of what she says but I have heard her say if you don't have a Pentecostal experience with being filled with the Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues, falling down on the floor) you aren't truly saved and I do have a big problem with that one.

I've seen her and it is SO WORTH IT. Although it was at a conference that did not require any money. She's just the same in person as on television. She's great! I love watching - and I have NEVER in 10 years of watching her say that you must speak in tongues to have the Holy Spirit in you. And no one at the concerts were falling down, etc.
She is very good. If you can, try to arrainge to go & see her!

My soon-to-be ex boyfriend loves her. She has this voice that grates on my nerves,
therefore i can't stand being in the same room with her, whether it's in huge arena
or otherwise. She's real, though, and cuts through the crap.

I've seen her live years ago. I would love to see her again if she ever gets close to my home again. I would highly recommend going if you can. Invite a few friends and make it an overnight trip. Let us know if you go.

I never felt the urge to go to a story book reading, BUT on T.V. I have sure seen that she has charisma and a dynamic presence.
I just wish more people like her would apply themselves to problems and solutions in the real world.

I pray that you are able to make it there. I have not, yet, but I know people who have seen here live and they loved it. I know that she will be coming to Orlando soon enough and I will definitely be in attendance! I was even thinking about driving to Georgia in November to see her as well...figured I could make a trip out of it and visit Charles Stanley's church up there.

Joyce in the land of chocolate, wow, I would also love to see her, I watch her TV morning show and find her down to earth, honest and sometimes just funny, and then to be surrounded by chocolate, one word -- HEAVEN!!!!

I want to go to her women's conference NEXT year, but it's like an 8 hour drive from WI. I'd go with you to Hershey, but I'd have to tour the factory!! lol! Hope she comes to WI or IL very soon.

She does make me laugh but I can only take so much of her. Probably because I am like her in a lot of ways ;)

At the Thursday night meeting in Hershey, Joyce Meyer talked about a song. She said she heard the song and asked Candy to find it and learn it so that she could sing it. Candy sang it and I loved it. It was about being forgiven. I asked around at the tables both days and no one working at the booths knew the name of the song. I called Joyce Meyer Ministries and no one there knew it. Is there anyone who knows anyone who was at Joyce Meyer's meeting in Hershey on Thursday night who might know the title of that beautiful song?

Ooops. Tried to post this before. The name of the song that Dee mentions is "HE HAS FORGIVEN ME". The words and music were written by a songwriter named MARIE ARMENIA.
(copyright Penny Hill Publishing/ASCAP) It was recorded by Damaris Carbaugh for Discovery House in the mid-1990's. Candy does an excellent job of singing it. I think you can get the song from your local Christian bookstore.

She some times just tells it like it is ... lol
