Most the "U.S." troops in Iraq are Blackwater mercenaries. They don't get counted.
also
The mercenaries that the U.S. sends to Iraq make tons more money than the U.S. soldier, gets much better equipment, and they don't have to obey any nation's rules.
The U.S. flag on the uniform will soon be SO UNCOOL - you will want that corporate logo on YOUR sleeve if you're going to an anybody in the world in uniform!

As for your comment on the flag. Our military is still an all volunteer military. I don't know any soldier who would think that the American flag in "uncool" If they did they wouldn't be in the military to begin with. They don't do it for the money.
I assumed (oh thats so bad) all knew of Blackwater mercenaries
but you know Peter quiet they were never there
But I dont doubt they get more money and better stuff; they earn a lot more money per person, and they have about a million less people to take care of than the US military.
Blackwater lives and breathes under the protective hand, and legislation, of Mr. George W. Bush. They basically have carte blanche and will likely never suffer more than a slap on the wrist as repercussion for their unguarded actions.
And by the way, they are ready to be employed right here in the U.S. - and Congress doesn't even have to be notified until after the fact.
Walmart could hire them to blow up all the Kmarts!
