Last night my husband and I ate out at a great restaurant we love down here called Cody's Original Roadhouse in Tampa . They have 10 locations in the Tampa Bay area. They have "fresh cut, flame broiled, USDA prime and choice Steaks, Prime Rib, Rotisserie Chicken, Pork Back Ribs, Fresh, Fresh Fish, Burgers, Fajitas and more." They have specials and their house salad is very good. Their onion rings are huge, tasty and just wonderful. They are good deal because they give you so much food. My husband always gets a steak and I lean towards the ribs or chicken.
The restaurant is part of a chain in Maine, Florida and opening soon, Franklin, North Carolina. You can check out their menu and prices here:
There website is http://www.codysoriginalroadhouse.com/come_on_in.as
There are "Tubs of roasted peanuts are available throughout for snackin', crackin' or throwin' on the floor." It is always a busy place. There is an area with a few game machines. For a couple dollars of quarters my husband and I are able to get some time to talk alone.
Last night I noticed a waiter who had a mohawk that was standing about 5 inches straight up. He didn't wait on us but he seemed very nice and was moving quickly to get his customers their food. On the way out I went to the podium in the front of the restaurant and asked for a comment form. I wrote out a note that said that I was pleased that he was working there. Many employers require a certain look. I like it when people can express their individuality and are still gainfully employed.
I wound up talking to the manager and he told that the waiter's name was Kenny. Kenny is a drummer in a band and actually asked them before he did his hair into a mohawk and they were fine with it. Next time I go I will request Kenny.
My husband, John went to get the car so I didn't have to walk far. When I told him about stopping to write out the comment, he agreed the next time we would ask for Kenny. John said "At least it will be easy to spot him in the restaurant and get his attention."

Too many people can't seem to do that these days.
