Me and David had been keeping up with an Amber Alert that was in effect on Friday of a 11 month old baby girl in HArnett Co. only 20 minutes from where we live.It was very sad the grandmother reported her missing at 11:30 am on Friday as she was about to pick up her son from the airport.He had been deployed to Iraq for 15 months and never knew his daughter for she was born while he was gone.The mother had said to authories on Friday that the windw was open and the screen removed and placed on the ground next to the window the babies pink bed sheet was missing and all her clothes and a few bibs were missing.At this point it seemed to fishy to me and David both because in most child abuduction cases the abducter would not take the time to take all the clothes but the child and run. We were stumped.And feeling as though something seemed very out of place. They also had the mother in for questioning for most of the night it was very strange to because she had 3 other children in the house at the time under the age of 5.And they were not the father of the 11 month old baby girl missing.
Saturday a news briefing was broad cast and authories reported finding the remains of the baby girl conceled in the attic. As reported the precious baby had been dead for weeks and the mother out of fear she said found the 11 month old girl dead in her crib and was to fearful to report the death until the day the babies father was due to return home from Iraq. She is now being charged with 1 st degree murder of the baby and in custody without bail.The have not done an autopsy yet to deterimne what happend to that poor baby.I hope soon to find out what happend.It is such a tragic end to such a beautiful and precious life. please pray for the father i can't imagine how he may be feeling after serving 15 months in such a horrible place to come home to this.
