The vexing problem that stressed me
And brought sorrow into my soul
Has no hope of a tomorrow
As it lies buried in cold stone
If one problem was my fortune
I'd sing glad tunes both night and day
But life affords not this kindness
Within my sun are specks of gray
So I trudge paths on this mountain
And when I can I stand a stone
And let the weight of a trouble
Be no more to my weary bone
Luck is not a dear companion
It seems to hide when I arrive
But steady course make me hopeful
That I'll not stumble in my climb
Do doves speak to those forsaken
Who seek for peace but feel alone
As the thorns of life dig deeper
Will penance made somehow atone
So worry not of tomorrow
For it has claim to aches and pain
Cast out the demons that bind you
And bury each while on your way
I walk through valleys of shadow
And every step has a great weight
Yet grace of God gives me firm hope
That troubles will end one fine day
God heard my heart of misery
And took the troubles from my hand
And said move on there's more to do
And felt His love in this command
There will be troubles on my road
And some will tear and hurt my soul
But I know God will be my friend
And guide me through each path I wend

Good Poem
He will hear us if we cry out to him, and turn it all over to him.
God bless all...
I'm taken by your poetry. It's the kind where you understand what you're reading.
That's very courteous of you. We don't need to grab for lexicons and Wikipedia.
But that does not mean that your poems are not good. They are yessir.
All that said, I find this poem both a deep expression of pain and yet it sends out a ray of hope for all of us.
"Luck is not a dear companion
It seems to hide when I arrive
But steady course make me hopeful
That I'll not stumble in my climb"
I've been on this road too.
Awesome..
Elsie's comment was as lovely as your poem.
Picking dandelions when I'm in Rome
Putting them in a brown paper bag
For recyclers to dispose of
As they roam roam roam roam roam
Blessings
Good poem.
