In late October it would be reasonable to assume that the yard sale pickings would be getting so lean it would be better to go check out some fall colors instead. "I'm not going to find any deals; nothing annoying will beg to be photographed." This was not so today, and I'm glad I was too pigheaded to let go of the idea that it might still be yard sale season. Janie was off all day, and we had a great time.
First of all, Minneapolis and St. Paul burst with trees. Going yard saling was going out to check out the colors.

Find of the day

Pedestal sink with faucet
price - $75
sold
We don't know yet if the faucet has issues, but that's irrelevant. A white pedestal sink is something we've wanted enough to go down and buy one at full price. Finding it at 1/4 or 1/3 of retail at a yard sale was just the boost we needed to tear up that nightmare of a bathroom and start making it something we'd like company to see.
Thing we least wanted to buy

Propane heater
price - $40
no sale
The phrase "This could be the death of you" burst into my brain. I've never been comfortable with propane bottles, and having burners this big, this close . . .
Other things we did and did not buy:

Caterpillar
price - unknown
no sale
Nothing at this sale was priced. This was worthy of a picture, but it has way too many primary colors to match even our storage-unit-inspired decor.
