Take my daughter league bowling for 8 am, then drop her at school to catch the bus to cheer at a football game, go to my job at the museum where I am the educator to rehearse for the Halloween ghosting I am putting on, then pick her up from the bus and take her to a friend's house to get ready for the Homecoming Dance, then go to the dance and take pictures, then bring her home after the dance. That's Saturday. On Sunday, I am going out for breakfast before church, then after church drop my daughter at a Halloween party in the afternoon, then immediately go sing in a concert with a potluck supper after, then feed my husband dinner and he will go pick her up while I go to my friend's house to watch TV. At some point in there I need to do laundry and finish my costume for the Halloween event and make a colonial outfit for my daughter for the event. I may sleep if I'm lucky :)

We are going to the Haunted Hayride and Haunted Mansion, so that should be fun. We are also supposed to attempt to bake apple pies, which should be interesting.

This weekend? Gearing up for an author chat, answering emails and helping a son keep working on a group project with his friends. Taking him to and from the library, etc. He is too young to drive and the library is too far to get to by bike or on foot and we don't have great public transportation here.

So this weekend was going to be all about cleaning and taking care of kids. Instead at 3AM, I thought we had a gas leak in our house so I woke up my adult daughter and we got all three kids up and called my dad to see if he could come over and check it out. Then we sat outside in the car under blankets. All five of us in our pj's. We left the front and back doors open. Dad came and checked everything out and said the gas smell is coming from outside and its not inside the house. Well it was strong!! If it really wasn't in the house, and I guess it wasn't, then something is terribly wrong somewhere because the gas smell was so very strong! I feel rather foolish about the whole thing now but I really thought the house was going to blow up. So now the weekend plans are for me to try to live down all the jokes at my expense :-( and for the entire family to catch up on our sleep!!

We just got back from an overnight to my grandma's house. We had a family gathering for her birthday. It was fun, beautiful out where she lives, and interesting traveling there during the huge windstorm.

I stay in most of the time, because I have no choice. I guess I have to get a scooter before I can do too much..
I did get to go to a friends house to watch some old movies this weekend. He has gotten the 75th Anniversary editions of Boris Karloff in Frankenstein, and Bela Lugosi in Dracula! We watched the documenteries on them, and that was interesting.

I am commenting on all of your articles and photos as you have asked us to do in the mass email sent out! Not all my comments will be personalized as there are 20 pages of articles to read through and even more than that on photos and I would rather spend the time reading and looking and enjoying then writing! Btw I saw you were listed as having 20 pages of articles but it will only let me see 19 of them so I will Comment on everything it lets me see!
