they were showing the American flag wrong it a couple churhes I went too. I told them and the next time I came they had switched the flags in the right postion. The flag goes on your left side when facing the pulpit. Thanks for sharing. My thanks to the man for taking it down.

Amen, Kim! If more of us stood up for the rights and freedom we fought for then maybe those who come here and still refuse to speak the language and feel they have a right to act as though this is thier home country, would appreciate the USA more.

Thanks Lloyd for this. It's illegal to fly the flag of another counrty above the American flag, in America.

When my husband was recently gifted with a Slovienian flag by a friend, we bought a new, bigger American flag, which is flown ABOVE.

We fly the Slovenian flag in honor of his parents who came to this country from Hitler's camps. They love their native country and may not have come here except fleeing for their lives, but they honor America more for their new life. They also learned to speak English and my father-in-law still works at perfecting his accent and learning new words.

I was really impressed by this vet doing nothing more than taking ownership of the flag. No threats, arguments or violence.

He is an inspiration to all Americans. We should always stand up for our flag. We had a restaurant that flew the Communist China flag above their restaurant. They went bankrupt.

I agree that something should have been done. There is nothing wrong with honoring your country of origin, but not over the country in which you reside. How many flags would have been allowed to even fly in some countries, much less over the flag of the country you were in?
