6", 9" or 12" crocheted squares, granny, or otherwise, any color or design, to add to my charity blanket stash.
Preemie, and regular sized baby hats or blankets to donate to the special needs baby section of my local hospital.
A small donation to The American Diabetes Association or your local animal shelter.
Crochet hooks of any size as long as they are glass, wood, bone or some other material than metal. Antiques are gladly accepted. Handmade hooks are highly cherished. I collect them. I USE them. I have lots of metal hooks, but I love the wooden and bone ones so much better.

My youngest was slightly preemie (4-5 weeks) so your list really touched me.
I recieved many gifts from the Ronald McDonald House, and two different churches, also from a couple of the nurses who just fell in love with my daughter's neon orange hair. There were 3 or 4 outfits that were the only premie clothes I could find that were not just tshirts or sleepers, some really soft blankets, hats and mittens, and a couple of stuffed toys.
Know that your donations and kind thoughts are the type that help get parents through those rough times.
