Dreams: Nighttime Theater

I do think they have underlying meaning for your life.

I think dreams have meanings that relate to the things we are going through in life.

A little of both, I do beleive some dreams manifest themselves for a reason but others really are just dreams.

I don't know if they have meaning, but I seem to have had recurring dreams of huge, tidal waves. MASSIVE, such as coming over a whole city. Terrifying! Zombie dreams suck too.

I think many times our dreams are just a way of our mind in either dealing with or getting away from the problems most on our minds when we go to sleep. Sometimes, they can be so much more:
" Then afterward I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female slaves, in those days, I will pour out my spirit."

Joel 2:28-29

I don't know about dreams, some of them are so real and I can remember them in detail and I think those have to do with something going on in my life at the time, and some of them are so off the wall that I can just remember bits and pieces but I have had dreams of people that have passed away that seem like visits to me, and I remember every bit of those, so perhaps they are just that,a way of continuing communication, or maybe I just want to believe that, but those dreams comfort me,and the other night I swear I dreamed a whole movie up and I was in it and I remember thinking what is coming next, and not wanting to wake up until it was finished, and the phone rang, and the curtain came down, wish I could pick that one up again, like to know what happened. I don't think I made any sense at all here.

ah Elsie Dreams do that,I am a dreamer If in a good 'movie' dream and I have time I will cover myhead and finish it!sometimes when I write the dream down it makes no sense but the word images I write give me the sense of feeling I had and it is nice.

I definitely see the connection here, about underlying meaning. Especially the one last night. It would be good to keep a dream journal, could make a good novel out of that one!
