Son and I Detour!

My son and I had to run to the bank, and to send out some bill payments. On our way home, we took a detour in the opposite direction.  We found a few stopping places and took pictures until the battery died in the camera.  Some of what we saw, we could not get pictures of since we were on a busy road.  Here are a few pictures of what we did see.

I can't EVEN tell you how homesick these photos make me for Germany---just last week, my husband and I were vacationing in the mountains of NE Georgia...scenery very much like your photos and I commented, "This could be Germany if the lines in the road weren't yellow." And there are your photos today with the white road markings, just as I envisioned them in my mind. I haven't been back since 2000, but man! Do I miss schoen Deutchland!

I also love hearing the cookoos in early summer!!!

Let me hush. I am making myself miserable!
