Here are more Fall photos taken this weekend up the mountains. Everything is so beautiful it is hard to stop taking pictures. I went for my usual walk out to the ski slopes and here are some unusual things I found, plus the view for miles. The scenery in the distance is getting prettier each week.

The view from the middle of the ski slopes

Nature carpets the forest floor.

Looking down one side of the ski slopes.

Down the other ski slope.

Bottom of the beginners slope.

A few lone flowers remain on the slopes, soon to be covered with snow.

Some blooming moss? Not sure what this is, but it is pretty growing between the rocks on the slopes.

Wild blueberries growing among the rocks on the slopes. What a find these were.

Patches of flowers or blueberries like this can be found growing among the rocks on the slopes close to the ground. You have to look close when your are walking to find them.

Some pretty white flowers growing along the edge of the woods. They still get enough sun to keep going for now.

I think this is a milkweed pod.

This milkweed pod is just about dried.

Another wild flower winding down.

The red leaves add a nice touch to all the green in the Fall.

A final view from the top of the ski slopes.
I hope to get back in two weeks for my final photo of Fall in the Pocono Mountains, Jack Frost Mountain, and Snowridge Village. I still have photos of Snowridge for my last photo essay for this past weekend, October 13th and 14th, 2007.
