I now have four children under the age of five. Really, what am I thinking? I’ve learned a lot in the last five years, though. Toddlers have got to be the best teachers there are. I wanted to share some of the things my toddlers have taught me over the last five years:
The best way to mix cooking ingredients is on the kitchen floor…no bowl is necessary.
13 bedtime drinks and 7 potty trips is not an unrealistic request.
Barney is just as entertaining the 78th time as it was the 1st
time.
If you look in a pregnant woman’s belly button you can see the baby.
Color does change a food’s flavor.
Toys belong on the floor, not in a toy box.
Bubbles in a bath are a necessity, not a luxury.
Fingers are the best booger removers. Tissues just cause chafing.
A floor has not been mopped properly unless at least 10 gallons of water have been poured on it.
Dirt is a great on-to-go snack at the park.
Raked leaves want to be jumped in.
The dog likes to play horsey.
Bath time is for playing not washing.
Makeup can make even the wall look prettier.
And, last but definitely not least, Sissey did it.
Keep it going….tell me some of the things your children have taught you!

" From a toddler: If Mommy's hands are full, I must be carried.
If Mommy is in a hurry and wants to carry me, I must walk alone."
