Please consider taking action on this plea from the Humane Society!
NATIONAL CALL-IN DAY FOR HORSES IS TUESDAY OCTOBER 16!
Tuesday, October 16 is the National Call-In Day for Horses. It
is time to make your voices heard so that American horses will
be saved from slaughter once and for all.
Here's what you can do to help: If you live in Arkansas
1. Your U.S. Representative, John
Boozman and your two U.S. Senators,
Blanche Lincoln and
Mark Pryor, have not
co-sponsored a ban on horse slaughter. Please call Rep.
Boozman at (202) 225-4301, Sen.
Lincoln at (202) 224-4843 and Sen.
Pryor at (202) 224-2353 and urge
them to co-sponsor H.R. 503/S. 311.
2. Follow up your phone calls by letting us know you called to
support an end to the slaughter of American horses for human
consumption and prohibit their export for slaughter in other
countries:
Help us expand the number of Americans who reach Congress on
this important issue by telling everyone you know to call their
legislators on October 16:
Your calls will not only make a difference, they will help make
history.
Sincerely,
Wayne Pacelle
President & CEO
The Humane Society of the United States
Thank you for saving our horses from slaughter, and the associated theft that slaughter encourages.

I'm going to go have a large drink now. (But I'll definitely be there tomorrow, calling my cretinous rep and senators. Thanks, Debbie!)
Let me know if I can help anyway, fellow Arkansan.
I’ll spend the day on gather, trying to see it all.
There’s quite a few discussions and lots of pictures too.
I’m looking at the videos adding comments galore for you.
So here on the eve of St Paddy’s Day, with all the Irish Luck.
Here’s hoping you get enough points today to make at least a buck!
Happy Monday!
