The ABC's of Me - Inspired by Marilyn

A is for aging, for today is my 56th birthday.

B is for benefit of the doubt.  Something usually given, but after three strikes you’re out.

C is for Christian and proud of it.

D is for death, something I’m not afraid, for I’m confident where I’m going

E is for energy, something I wish I had more of, often eluding me due to “A”.

F is for forgiveness, something we all have to do, then move on.

G is for grammar, an online class I need to take this winter but keep postponing.

H is for hope, love and happiness, a wish for my children.

I is for me, myself and I. Which is sometimes okay too.

J is for Jesus, my best friend, King, Alpha, Omega, Son of God and Savior

K is kin, clan and family, always at the top of my list.

L is for love, for without it I have nothing.

M is for my Mom, one of the most stable, secure, loving, comforting, courageous, wise and encouraging persons I know.

N is for nonsense. For without a little nonsense and silliness in my life it sure would be dull.

O is for ornery, something I can be a little of sometimes. Does ornery go hand in hand with stubborn?

P  is for passionate about my husband, children, grandson, God, life, love and happiness.

Q is for Queen. I am the Queen of my Castle, sharing equal responsibilities with my King.

R is relatives, even by marriage.

S is for sex, the frosting on the cake, the union of two spirits, we all need some of it, even ME!

T is for time; stopping to smell the roses, hearing the birds sing and never taking it for granted

U is for “u”, all my Gather connections.  Thanks for being there, for smiling with me, crying with me and all “u’re” encouragement.

V is Christ’s victory over death, and a promise fulfilled.

W is for Warrior, my little Cajun fighter, union organizer, stander upper and proclaimer
of “rights”.

X is for x-rays, something that showed a bad wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. Yayyy for x-rays, no more pain!

Y is for the young, our future, our descendants, our carrying on.

Z is for zealot, something my Dad called me during our political debates.
