I have a list that could go on forever, but there are certain things I want worse than others.
1. A house (Apartment living is not for me!)
2. A second car (I am tired of only having one car and it doesn't have to be fancy. Just to get me to and from point A to point B safely.)
3. My craft room finished (I am tired of trying to sew and scrapbook in a tiny space.)
4. A Wicked Witch of the West Tree topper (good luck finding one because I haven't!)
5. Lots of Borders gift cards (I love reading!)
6. Gift cards to craft stores (A.C. Moore, Michael's, Joann's, etc.)
7. Fabric for quilting (Lots and lots of fabric! Okay. So I am addicted to fabric. LOL)
8. Magazine subscriptions to any quilting or scrapbooking magazines. (I need ideas.)
9. A laptop table (I am tired of holding my laptop in my lap.)
10. Vintage hanky's (I want to make a quilt out of them.)
The list could go on, but I will stop here.

Ugh, I lived in an apartment for a little over a year, and it sucked. The guy above us became a chain-smoking, heavy-drinking morphine addict. (He had an idiot doctor who gave him morphine patches for nerve damage.)
And WE were the ones who got evicted. For no reason. Little did they know, they were doing us a favor!
DVD talk forum's free magazine list (updated daily)
Fatwallet forums The second sticky here is their magazine subscription transfer thread, where they list new free magazine offers as well as subscriptions different users have that they're looking to give away the remaining time on.
Arlana's freebies - a whole section on magazines. Sometimes it's just one issue, sometimes a whole sub. Following her link for the free issue of Quilter's World leads to the website where you'll see photos of projects and a free project series as well as additional free projects and ideas. This is the homepage link: Quilter's World.
Then there's Adperk which gives you points for watching video ads, and with those points you can buy subscriptions. They have a few interesting magazines and say there are more in the works, they look interesting to me but none yet are crafting related.
Hope that helps at least a little. :)

I have not tried to make a quilt out of ties. I'd have to go buy a ton of them from the thrift store just to get started. I have seen pictures of tree skirts for the Christmas tree made from ties that are really neat looking.
I hope all your wishes come true. I might have some craft things you would like. Please
send me your address at my gather email.
