was thinking to point out that in his autobiography he TOLD US that he wasn't honest
did start outline in Inspiration.... but not even done that yet
and I've been going through his autobio and bookmarking all the places where he's talking about his strategies, etc ....
going to build one system for the store as a trial .... see how it goes... then possibly try to market it
seems to be all gung ho to get going now....
kicking me out of the workshop (and back into the living room where I want to be) is part of that
maybe I'll send you outline/inspiration thingie when I get a bit further with it
rather an interesting perspective, since I'm not allowed to disturb him by actually TALKING to him during the movie ...although I may comment during commercials while we watch Daily Planet or CSI or whatever after the movie ends....
I hear those are a lot easier to manage if you do them as you go
of course, not having every actually done them that way, I'm only going on rumour
the time sheet has some flaws that the person who created it needs to fix... so i sent her an email and suggested she fix it. gave her a couple of options don't care how she does it, just do it cause otherwise my info does not fit on one sheet. it cuts it off and goes to two sheet. whine whine whine.....
oh...that would be annoying, grems.... one does prefer to get paid rather than not!
How's that paper coming? Angela's 28 pg. book has 9 pages finished so far.
Benjamin Franklin is perhaps the world's most honest man – and he is certainly among the best at self promotion. In The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, he effectively creates a persona of himself as both virtuous and honest – by admitting to faults and dishonesty.
but not sure that it works; that it is strong enough - and even if it is - how do I make that address the 20th century aspect of the question
John Smith and Ben Franklin were two of America's great self-promoters. Choose one of the two and discuss the image of himself that he creates and how he accomplishes this. What do these men emphasize in the characters that they promote as significant? How does their self-image compare to contemporary ideas about the "self-made man"?
it is very hard to find allowable sources of info re: contemporary anything
but if you can't use internet sources you really can't use contemporary anyone
