How unbelieveably wrong. No justice for the victim or the victim's family. These guards were wrong, and need to be punished for their actions.

An all white jury's acquittal Friday of seven former boot camp guards and a nurse in the death of a 14 year-old black youth drew had drawn both disgust and outrage throughout the state of Florida.
The Bay County jury took only 90 minutes to find all of the defendants not guilty of manslaughter. How they did this is completely unbelievable, since a video was shown in court, the video showed the drill instructors hitting and kicking Martin Lee Anderson on his first day at the camp, while the nurse stood by and watched this.
Anderson died Jan. 6, 2006, when he was taken off life support, a day after the altercation.

Can anyone, obviously not the jurors, mentally put yourself at the scene watching this child wail, scream, cry and beg as these 'Nazi guards' show their ignorance and sense of what 'power' is by treating this child like something sub-living. I do not say 'sub-human' as nothing should be treated in this manner. If you allow yourself to go there and experience the whole event then you would become sick thoroughly ill with disgust.
I struggled writing these few words as I do not know of any English words that can reflect the depths of evil this moment in times stoops to.

I can not understand how they jury found these poor excuses for human beings not guilty.
What is the most appaling about this case is the fact that there was video evidence of the guards beating and kicking Martin. Just how can a jury acquit the guards when there was video evidence?
I desperately hope they meet their maker sooner rather than later for their due punishment.
What they did was so beyond beleif.

I agree they need to shut down this Boot Camp.
