Cha Cha Cha...Part -2 (October Romance)
For Delia seeing this Indian was so unusual. It caused her insides to fill with an eccentric, fluid heat. Trembling, wishing that he would say something instead of just standing there speechless, watching her every move. Delia was getting more frantic. She was loving sight of sheer masculinity standing before her.
She heard that Indian boys are easily manipulated and can love any woman fast but for the lifetime. Their fervor and sincere love are like chattels. Delia wanted to feel this saga in veracity. She guessed that Dave was also enthusiastic to join her .She was equally whirling wicked with him. In this fanatical game of hide and seek, Delia wanted to be caught soon. What will make him crazy? Delia wondered what will make him crazy and she couldn't help thinking the Halloween witches were casting a magic Chinese spell to enchant her. She understood the Indian's way of saying "love". Bizarre, paranormal feelings plagued her. She thought,he is like another life.
"Bravura," Dave mumbled with his eyes still locked on hers. The look was long and special. Her blood, already warmed from the dance, heated further. There was a fluffy dryness in her throat.
Delia was not ready to question that what she had been doing and why.
"My knowledge of ballet is limited?"Dave smiled again, a slow, somehow dashing smile she knew women found difficult to resist.
"What did you like here?" Delia gave a direct look.
"To see you. Watching your dance and now talking to you." said Dave and continued to smile as surprise reflected clearly on her face."
"Have dinner with me"? said Dave as eyes were on hers again.
Delia who thought, she will tackle herself efficiently, it took her a moment to react, as her mind was brawling in other aspects now.
"Dinner?"She gave him an ingenuous stare as she tried to decide how she felt about the idea of being with him."I don't know if I want to do that." Said Delia
Dave brows lifted at her bluntness, but he nodded.
"I will be waiting in the hall" said Dave and before she could comment, he walked back to the door.
Delia, the woman who stared back at Dave was a confident, mature girl. She felt as comfortable with this image as she felt with all her other roles. She came back to her room. She brushed her hair over one shoulder and braided it loosely as she thought of him.
Moving to her closet, Delia took out her jacket .How long has it been since I went out with a man? She wondered .Eight months? Nine? One year, she decided with a sigh. His scent still clung to it .Delia threw that jacket on the couch.

I liked the phrase "he's like another life". It rally sats a lot.
But I'm confused. Is she leaving him standing in the hall?

Thanks for your kind comments on the Gather support article.
Your son looks so much like mine. My son came from Romania (Romani). We adopted him at age 5 and we have discovered there may be a connection between Romanis and India. Isn't that odd?
Dear Judi ,I am working hard to end this story nicely..let's see.

I liked how she looked on the roles she plays in life. And the scent on the jacket was a really good touch.
