I always use weather.com You can get the 10 day, or the month forcast and weather.

I was looking at weather.com and didn't notice where it would give the information you wanted for the previous month... Am I missing something?

Michael - It can be a little tricky to find but it is there. Susan provided the link and if you look at Veronigue's answer she provides the exact page. It doesn't exactly jump out from the Weather.com page but it IS there.

I never expected anyone to spoon feed me the answer and, in fact, felt a bit bad even asking. But honestly, I can do taxonomy with my son easier than I could find that info on the daily weather (sunny, rainy) Getting the daily temps was a snap,but he has to calculate how many actual days were cloudy, sunny, rainy and all that. It was just not coming to us, how to find this. I feel....stupid. But grateful that others here were on the ball.

So, MIchael, just use Veronique's link and you'll see it. It isn't you, the site take a bit of practice.

I'll have to check out weather.com. We always use accuweather.com. This breaks things down to the hour for us. If it looks overcast and I want to ride my bike or take a walk, I just click on to see if it's going to rain in the next hour or so.

September 2007 Climate Summary For Kansas City and St. Joseph

The average temperature at the Kansas City International airport was 71.2 degrees...which was 3.1 degrees above normal. The average high temperature was 82.8 degrees or 3.8 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was 59.6 degrees which was 2.4 degrees above normal. The highest temperature for the month was 95 degrees on the
4th. The lowest temperature was 41 degrees on the 15th.

Precipitation came in at 2.47 inches for the month...or 2.17 inches below normal. The greatest precipitation in a 24 hour period was 1.32 inches on the 6th through the 7th.
