They are such cute little dogs. I had a little ceramic statue of one with furry ears when I was a child and I always wanted a dog like that, although I have had many dogs but never a papillon. I have read that they can be stubborn and hard to train but I don't know if that's true or not. I can't imagine why anyone would get one and then abuse it, especially when they usually cost a lot of money.

Such a sweet picture and a great poem! My parents had a papillon for 15 years until she went to doggie heaven about 6 months ago! She was a stubborn, hard-headed little cutie and they sure miss her!

Ahhhh what a doll-baby. My friends have a Pappi and she is solid black and her butterfly ears are so adorable---your Gizmo looks just like her except for the color. They named her Nicki and she is such a gentle spirited dog. I wonder if they are all like that. Anyway great pic--thanks for sharing it with us.

jUst met a lady aa the Vet's She'd bought a Pap from a Pet Shop in Coral Springs-it looked as much like a Pap as I do. She was very upset (It's name was Gizmo also!). It was huge, looked more like Sheltie. Of course now they love it but are very unhappy that they paid a bundle for a dog that was supposed to be a tiny Papillon

Gizmo is the name of one of my adopted cats!!! He really looks like a show dog, so sad that anyone could be mean to such a little guy!!! Well, looks like he has died and gone to heaven now..
