I am from the mystical wind blown midlands

Alamo ancestors on opposite sides

I am old Mexican tradition and modern America

I am Texas humidity and Louisiana thunder

Arizona red lands and California sunshine

The last line is the only really weak one because it's just a common expression. If you could think of a new way to say "wrapped in one" then you'd have a much stronger poem.
